Photonics West 2008 Report

February 5, 2008, San Jose, California -- NALUX hosted an exhibition booth at the Photonics West Conference and Exhibition 2008 show, carried out in the City of San Jose. The 6 day conference and exhibition, from January 19 to 24, had the exhibition area inside the San Jose Convention Center and the conference meetings ran in rooms within the convention center as well.

"We are delighted to be here at this conference every year," says Seiichiro Kitagawa, the president of Nalux Co, Ltd., headquartered in Yamazaki, Osaka, Japan. "We are proud to display our technology in the exhibition area and also present our accomplishments in the state-of-the-art technology area for the conference."

Nalux presented a couple of papers for the convention; "Controlled emission of polarized infrared light by a nanocavity equipped optical source" in one of the "Quantum Sensing and Nanophotonic Devices" confenreces, and "Improvement in light sensitivity of an ultrahigh-speed high-sensitivity CCD with a microlens array" in an "Optical Components and Materials" conference. Plenty of visitors to the show were attracted to the NALUX booth, well known for its high level of nano-technology and highest quality optics.

We look forward to the conference and exhibition next year, and to Nalux's advancement within this coming year.
