Report: The 10th China International OPTO ELECTRONIC Expo

September 12, 2008, Yamazaki, Japan -- Nalux hosted a booth at The 10th China International OPTO ELECTRONIC Expo. The four day event from Saturday, September 6th to Tuesday, September 9th, attracted 77,000 visitors from around the world. The show at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center expanded by 20% over last year to 55,000 sq. meters for the 1,902 exhibitors, an 18% increase, and is now the world's largest exhibitioin for optoelectronics.

According to the organizers the show and the conference that ran in parallel to the show were supported by all major universities in China as well as by optoelectronics-related state institutions: the China Association for Science and Technology, the Academy of Opto-Electronics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Optical Society, the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of the Information Industry.
